Honor to whom honor is due.
the petition for honoring denise scott brown postmortem for her contribution as seminal to her husbands' work, the exhibition on eileen gray in the centre pompidou in paris - honor to whom honor is due.
there was a kickstarter-project to fund a documentary on eileen gray's house E1027 and her relations and influence on le corbusier and others. unfortunately, there are far too little supporters for the time being. 20 days left!
In episode 7, season 6 of mad men, this chaise longue, officially designed by le corbusier, gets quite some attention. The influence of eileen gray is evident, the fact that the design actually comes from charlotte perriand, who worked for Le Corbusiers atelier, rather unknown. Behind every great man there is a great woman.

wings of desire
one of the few films that hit me like a bomb in my heart and won't get out of my head till i die.
When the child was a child
It walked with its arms swinging,
wanted the brook to be a river,
the river to be a torrent,
and this puddle to be the sea.
When the child was a child,
it didn't know that it was a child,
everything was soulful,
and all souls were one.
When the child was a child,
it had no opinion about anything,
had no habits,
it often sat cross-legged,
took off running,
had a cowlick in its hair,
and made no faces when photographed.
